ameroMexico seeks to jail currency speculatorsAt the turn of the 20th century, Porfirio Díaz spoke his famous words: "¡Pobre México! ¡Tan lejos de Dios y tan cerca de los Estados Unidos!" (Poor Mexico, so far from God and so close to the United States!) The rulers of Mexico are taking cues from the rulers of America and demanding that the rules change so they won't lose. The rules in question regard a situation where only basic economic rules exist--currency trading.
China holds the gold and makes the rulesAs I type these words, the market has fallen far below 10,000. It's lost 734 points and falling around 9600. Any trader worth his salt has been saying this for a few years. I'm calling a Dow 8000 as the bottom of this hangover. Many traders are calling a Dow 6000 or less. The same a$$holes who told everybody how flexible, resilient and wonderful our financial system is also managed to convince Congress to pass the $700 bailout. |
